Chattogram bats first in second Qualifier against Cumilla

Dhaka, 16 Feb -Chattogram Challengers won the toss and elected to bat first against Cumilla Victorians in the second Qualifier game of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today.

The winner of the game will move to the final of the tournament, scheduled on Friday. Fortune Barishal earlier won the first Qualifier against Comilla and confirmed the final straightway.

Since Cumilla finished at top two in the group phase, they have got
another chance to give a shot at the final.

Chattogram Challengers however qualified to give a shot at the final by winning the Eliminator game against Khulna Tigers.

In the double-leg group phase, Cumilla won both of the matches against Chattogram, by 52 runs and 9 wickets.

Chattogram however will be brimming with confidence as Will Jacks returned to the fold, replacing Kennar Lewis. He missed the Eliminator game due to a stomach bug.

Cumilla made two changes with Ariful Haque and Abu Haider Rony came into the place of Mahidul Islam Ankon and Nahidul Islam.
