Dhaka, 19 Oct —Former Pakistan leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed joined Bangladesh’s training camp today to guide the spinners in the side’s upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa.

Mushtaq, who has been working with the BCB series by series was with the team during their Pakistan tour. But he was not in the India tour due to prior commitments.

“He will work series by series whenever he is available,” cricket operations manager Shahriar Nafees told the reporters today.

“He is here now. We’ll see what happens in the next series.”

The BCB earlier said they will strike a long term deal with the legendary spinner at the end of this year.

"Probably we haven’t signed a long-term contract with him yet, but we are willing to do " BCB director Nazmul Abedeen Fahim said.
