Ansar, police win bronze on National Youth Archery

Dhaka, 19 Oct -Bangladesh Ansar and Bangladesh Police Archery Club won bronze medal in ‘The 6th Teer National Youth Archery Championship’ held at training center of Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi on Saturday.

In the U-21 recurve mixed team event, Bangladesh Ansar comprising Mahmudul Alam Rafi and Diya Siddique won bronze medal beating Yeasin Arafat and Jyoti Rani of Bangladesh Police Archery Club by 5-3 set.

In the U-15 recurve mixed team event, Bangladesh Police Archery team comprising Amresh Mali and Nadia Akter won the bronze medal beating Abduallh Al Najib and Menuka of Wahed Archery Club by 6-0 set.

Meanwhile, 21 gold medals matches will be decided on the last day (Sunday) of the three-day meet.
