Mazid lifts Barishal to 258-7 against Sylhet

Dhaka, 23 Nov -Opener Abdul Mazid struck a superb 78 as Barishal
reached 258-7 against table topper Sylhet Division in their sixth round match
of the National Cricket League (NCL) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium
today.
Mazid held together the innings amid a misfiring middle order batting after
Barishal were sent to bat first.
He played 199 balls and hit eight fours in his innings and found some support
from No.7 batter Sohag Gazi who made 43.
Fast bowler Rejaur Rahman Raja returned figures of 3-58 while Ebadot Hossain,
Tofael Ahmed, Nasum Ahmed and Rahatul Ferdous took one wicket apiece.
