Al-Amin 5-for gives Khulna 2nd victory in NCL

Dhaka, 26 Nov - Pacer Al-Amin grabbed 5-67 as Khulna Division  cruised to a 58-run win over Chattogram for their second victory in six matches in the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL) today at Sylhet Academy Ground.

With Chattogram being reduced to 118-7 on Day 3, the victory was just formality for Khulna while chasing the target of 204.

However, Chattogram finally were bowled out for 145 in the first session on Day 4 to concede third defeat in the league.

Irfan Shukkur was the top-scorer for them with 32 while Ashraf Hasan made 31. 

Al-Amin who took four wickets on Day 3, removed Ashraful to complete his five-for. Mehedi Hasan Rana, who returned to cricket after 25 months hiatus due to injury, took 3-36.

Khulna were bowled out for 204 in its first innings and conceded 16-run lead when Chattogram put up 220 all out, riding on a brilliant 107 from Parvez Hossain Emon. 

Khulna thereafter piled up 219 before being all out in their second innings to set 204-run target.
