Bangladesh U19 face off Pakistan in 1st semi-final tomorrow

Dhaka, 5 Dec -With an aim to seal the final berth of the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, Bangladesh youngsters will take on Pakistan in the first semi-final tomorrow (Friday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Bangladesh moved to the semi-final by being the runners-up from Group B while Pakistan secured the top spot in Group A.

The Junior Tigers beat Afghanistan, thanks to skipper Azizul Hakim Tamim's century and Nepal in the first two matches before losing to Sri Lanka by seven runs in a keenly contested game.

Pakistan meanwhile beat their archrivals India, hosts UAE and Japan to stay unbeaten.

India became the group A runners-up and will take on Group B champions Sri Lanka at the same day in Sharjah.

The semifinal winners will play the final on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
