Ghazanfar won't be part of Rangpur this season

Dhaka, 26 Dec -Afghanistan mystery offspinner Mohammad Ghazanfar won't be the part of Rangpur Riders for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 tournament.

Rangpur management confirmed the news today at its official whatsapp group.

"Congratulations to AM Ghazanfar on his maiden Test call. He won't be part of
Rangpur Riders this season," the whatsapp message read.

Ghazanfar is now playing the Afghanistan's first Test against Zimbabwe at
Bulawayo. He made his Test debut with this match after showing impressive
performance in ODI format for his country.

Meanwhile, Rangpur recruited Under-19 captain Azizul Hakim Tamim outside of
the draft to further bolster their strength.

Hakim recently made some eye-catching performance in the just concluded NCL
T20 tournament.

The team will start its practice for the BPL tomorrow (Friday) at Bashundara
Sports City.

The new look BPL will begin on December 30 with Rangpur taking the field at
the opening day by locking horns with Dhaka Capital at Sher-e-Bangla National
Cricket Stadium.
