Chattogram, 21 Jan – Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Dhaka Capitals today organised an awareness program on drug and mobile phone addiction at Chattogram Cantonment Public College with the slogan- ‘‘We are committed for a positive change of our future generations.’’

The programme included discussions and lively football matches between  cricketers and students, according to a post of Dhaka Capital in its facebook page.

Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman is very happy to be associated with the students on a free day. ‘‘I always enjoy (the company) of the kids. It’s difficult to beat them in both cricket and football,” he said.

"Let them come to sports. Let them study hard. They are our future,” Mustafizur said in a message to the students.

Hard-hitter batter Sabbir Rahman had a very lively time. He was seen making videos of the students.

"It feels good to go back to my childhood. When I was a child, my parents wouldn't let me to play. I used to skip school and go play. Today's children are lucky that their parents take them to play. They played wonderfully,” Sabbir said.

Dhaka opener Munim Shahriar said, "I feel nostalgic. We also had such a craze when we were children. I went back to my school life. The only message is, you have to use your mobile but don't misuse it. Stay away from drug addiction."

Another opener Habibur Rahman Sohan while echoing Shahriar said, "I enjoyed the whole time. I felt like I had gone back to my childhood. I didn't think I would get such a time in the middle of the BPL. It feels great." BSS
