Dhaka, 12 April - For the first time after a major heart attack, former Bangladesh skipper Tamim Iqbal came to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today.

Tamim, who had recently returned to the country after a medical check-up in
Singapore, was here to watch the high-voltage match between Abahani Limited
and Mohammedan Sporting Club.

He would have led Mohammedan in this match had he not suffered a cardiac
arrest in the last month during his side's match against Shinepukur Cricket
Club in BKSP.

Tamim first went to the president's box to watch the match and later he came to
Mohammedan's dressing room to meet his colleagues.

Mohammedan, however, didn't disappoint him as they won the match by 39 runs
to end their 11-match losing streak against Abahani.

In Tamim's absence, Towhid Hridoy is leading Mohammedan in the ongoing
league.BSS
