Dhaka, 2 May -The South Africa Emerging team will visit Bangladesh this month to play a three-match one day series and two four-day games against the home side.
The one-day matches will be held in Rajshahi while Chattogram and Dhaka will
host the four-dayers.
Wicketkeeper-batter Akbar Ali was named captain of the Bangladesh Emerging
team for the upcoming home series.
Akbar, who led Bangladesh to their maiden ICC Under-19 World Cup title in
2020, will guide a 15-member squad comprising several young domestic
performers and age-level graduates.
The three one-day matches are on May 12, 14 and 16.
Chattogram will host the first four-dayer from May 20-23 while the second and
final four-day are slated for May 27-30 at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National
Cricket Stadium.
