A company has expressed its desire to take a franchise named 'Noakhali Royals' in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The company named Sayan's Global wants to take a team in the next edition of the BPL. They have already informed the BCB about their interest. A London address is given on the company's website for contact.

"We are completely ready from our side," London-based businessman Ahmed Jamil, who is the owner of that company, told the reporters in Mirpur today.

"We hope that they will view our proposal positively and fulfill the expectations of the people of Noakhali."

"We want to buy the team in the name of Noakhali. We will not take any other name. We want to promote Noakhali."

Today's ongoing BCB board of directors' meeting will decide whether to take a franchise under this name or not, "There is a board meeting. In that board meeting, it will be decided whether to take a new franchise and if so, they will tell us what documents they need.''
