BCB president to meet national cricketers tomorrow

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Aminul Islam Bulbul is set to meet the national cricketers at a local hotel in the city tomorrow (Tuesday).


In a formal meeting with the players for the first time since he was appointed as the BCB president, Aminul will give players some directive, a BCB insider said.

He will also discuss various issues at length with the cricketers.

Aminul, a former Bangladesh skipper and the first Test centurion of the country, returned home today from Australia, where he spent some time with his family. 

He also joined a BCB meeting through online in this period.

After the meeting with the BCB president, the players will travel to Sylhet for their last phase of preparation for the Netherlands series and Asia Cup.

Netherlands are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on August 26 with the T20Is to be played on August 30, September 1, and September 3 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Following the series, the Bangladesh team will travel to UAE for the Asia Cup, reports BSS.
