Mubin's 50 helps Sylhet into lead

Dhaka, 10 Nov  - Opener Mubin Ahmed Dishan struck a fine half-century as Sylhet Division took a 127-run overall lead against Rangpur Division on the third day of the National Cricket League (NCL) third-round match at the Cox's Bazar Cricket Stadium today.

Mubin was unbeaten on 76-his career-best innings-guiding Sylhet to 173 for 5 in their second innings at stumps.

Earlier, resuming on 187 for 8, Sylhet were bowled out for 199 in their first innings. Rangpur then took a 46-run lead by scoring 245, thanks to a solid 70-run knock from Robiul Hoque Robi.

Pacer Abu Jayed Rahi starred with the ball for Sylhet, claiming 4 for 46, while left-arm spinner Nabil Masum bagged 3 for 40.

Mubin then helped Sylhet into lead, playing with grit and patience amid the wickets tumbling around him. BSS
