Dhaka, 19 Nov - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today organised a specialised Gender Sensitivity Training programme designed to strengthen awareness, responsibility and professional conduct across men’s and women’s cricket and BCB management.

The initiative was conducted in collaboration with UN Women, a BCB press release revealed.

“In a continued effort to ensure a safe, inclusive and respectful cricketing environment, the programme, participated by National Women’s Team members and BCB Management, focused on building understanding around gender equality and the prevention of harassment, and abuse within sports settings,” the release said.

The training reflects the Board’s commitment to nurturing an environment where every player and professional feels protected, respected and valued,’ it added.

“The sessions encouraged open dialogue, personal reflection, and a deeper appreciation of how gender sensitivity contributes to healthier team culture and organisational integrity.”BSS
