Rifat leads Odommo to victory over Anirban

Dhaka,  2 Feb - A brilliant half-century from opener Rifat Sanjid Shihab guided Team Odommo to a 11-run victory over Team Anirban for their third victory in the CCDM T20 Challenge Cup at Cricketers Academy Ground, Dhaka today.

Rifat struck a whirlwind 55 off 24, an innings featured with eight fours and 
two sixes. The knock paved the way for a big total as Odommo put up 176-9.

His fellow opener Romjan Hossain made 33 and the duo shared 74 runs for the 
opening stand to give the side a flying start. Saeed Sarkar was the other 
notable scorer with 25.

Team Anirban's Mohammad Sumon was the standout bowler for his side with 3-26 while Mojhammel Hasan took 2-46.

Anirban, in reply, managed to put up 165-8, conceding an 11-run defeat. Sumon 
led Anirban's batting also with team-best 43.

Iftekharuzzaman was the other notable scorer with 36 while opener Muhammad 
Fahad made 35.

Sadat Hridoy, Sujon Hawladar and Shushanto picked up two wickets apiece for 
Odommmo to derail Anirban's batting line up.BSS
