Atikur Rahman, elder brother of deceased Md Ziaur Rahman Mamun, filed a case on Friday night with Gacha Thana of the metropolitan city.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gacha Thana Nandolal Chowdhury confirmed the news.
Police recovered the bodies of a teacher couple from South Khailkur Bogartek area under Gacha Thana of Gazipur city on Thursday afternoon. The bodies were recovered from a private car.
The deceased are Md Ziaur Rahman Mamun, headmaster of Shaheed Smiriti School in Tongi, and her wife Jeli Akhter, assistant teacher of Amjad Ali High School.
According to police and family, the couple went out of their house in the morning of August 17 but they did not return home. Later, locals spotted the bodies inside a car and informed the police.
