16 nabbed on various charges in Rajshahi

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Detective Branch (DB) of Police in separate drives arrested 16 people on various charges in Rajshahi city Monday night till Tuesday morning.



Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Detective Branch (DB) of Police in separate drives arrested 16 people on various charges in Rajshahi city  Monday night till Tuesday morning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Police Md Rafiqul Alam, confirmed the matter on Tuesday morning.
Among the arrested, seven had warrants, four were drug addicts and the remaining five were held on various charges.
A huge number of drugs were recovered from their processions.
Legal action has been taken against them, the official added.
