2 Rohingyas shot dead in Ukhiya

Two Rohingyas were killed and another was injured Tuesday afternoon after miscreants opened fire at them in the Ukhiya Balukhali camp-13 in Cox’s Bazar.

Another person was injured in the firing which took place around 1:00 pm. Ukhiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Mohammad Ali confirmed the matter, reports UNB.

Both the deceased were named Md Rafiq. They were residents of Camp-13, G/4.

The condition of the other person who was shot is critical. He is undergoing treatment at Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, said the OC.

Legal action in this regard is under process. Police and APBN are working to keep the situation normal in the camp, the police official added.
