Customs intelligence seized 69 gold bars weighing around eight kilograms from a passenger of Emirates Airlines flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Wednesday (December 20).

Sources said while searching, the customs officials found the gold bars in a handbag of the detainee at the airport. Later, six more gold bangles from her.
