Two children raped in Munshiganj; ‘rapist’ held

Police arrested a man for ‘violating’ two children from Muktarpur in Sadar upazila of Munshiganj district on Friday.


The arrestee was identified as Sekendar Ali Chokdar of Muktarpur ara.

Saiful Alam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Sekendar violated the two children after taking them to his home alluring them of providing food and balloons on March 2.

As the news spread on Friday night, local people handed him over to police after calling the help of national emergency phone number 999, reports UNB.

A case was filed in this connection.
