Barrister Tureen Afroz Arrested from Uttara

Barrister Tureen Afroz was arrested from her residence in Uttara, Dhaka, on Monday night.


The arrest was confirmed by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). He stated that the arrest was made by officers from the Uttara West Police Station in relation to an attempted murder case filed against her.

In a separate development, four individuals, including Qamrul and Palak, have also been arrested in connection with new cases, according to DMP sources.
