1677 more crime suspects held in 24hrs

In the ongoing nationwide anti-criminal crackdown, police arrested 1677 more crime suspects in the last 24 hours.


According to the Police Headquarters, 1124 of them were netted in previous cases and pending warrants while 553 others were captured on various criminal charges.

During the operation, one foreign pistol, one airgun, one magazine, 93 rounds of bullet of airgun, seven rounds of bullet and several sharp weapons were seized, reports BSS.
