Trader’s throat-slit body found in Netrakona

The body of a 40-year-old shop owner with his throat-slit was recovered from South Doulatpur area in Mohanganj upazila of Netrokona district on Monday night.


The deceased was identified as Narayan Pal, son of Niru Pal of Rautpara area of the upazila.

Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Mohanganj Police Station, said local people found the body of Narayan inside his grocery shop named ‘Narayan store’ around 11 pm and informed police, reports UNB. 

The shop is 150 yard away from Mohanganj Police Station, said locals.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue of a local hospital.

However, police are checking CCTV footage of the area, said the OC.
