Samina Chowdhury released her new song 'Ami Bhalo Nei' written by Zulfiqer Russell, composed by Nachiketa Chakraborty, with music by Ridwan Nabi Pancham, on September 20.
Regarding the song, Samina Chowdhury said, 'When I was recording this song, I felt like I was not singing – to me it seemed more as though I was face to face with a loved one, bearing my heart. A song with strange beautiful words. With Nachiketa's sweet melody and Pancham's music, it is one of my favourite songs.”

"I sing a lot of songs. But the melding of the lyrics and heart do not always match in presentation. In this case I find Zulfiqer Russell to be an exception. His words come together in a way that tugs on one's emotions, singing these lyrics makes the heart feel lighter, ” in the Chowdhury's words.
Meanwhile, lyricist Zulfiqer Russell said, “Shuma (Samina Chowdhury) is one of my favourite artists. I have many songs with her and I want to do more in the future. Nachida is also one of my absolute favourite artists. This is our second song together. Like the first one, this song is composed with great atention by Nachida and Shuma Apa. Now the audience will tell us how they feel about the song.”
The first musical collaboration of Zulfikar Russell, Nachiketa Chakraborty, Samina Chowdhury and Ridwan Nabi Pancham, “Ektu Khani Koshto Diteo”  was released last year on Pohela Boishakh.
