Two people including a child died in separate two incidents due to storm cyclone Midhili in Chattogram on Friday afternoon.

A 70-year-old man named Abdul Wahab died after a branch of a tree fell on him during the rampage of cyclone Midhili at Moghdhora union under Sandwip upazila.

According to locals, he died on the spot while returning from the mosque near his house.

In Mirsharai upazila, a tree fell on Sidratul Muntaha, 3, daughter of Anwar Hossain at Sonapahar of Jorarganj union, leaving her seriously injured. She was immediately taken to Mirsharai Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared her dead.
