Ex Industries Minister Nurul Majid dies

Former Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun passed away at a hospital in the capital on Monday morning. He was 75.


He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 8:10am, said Md Faruk, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.

The former minister fell sick at the central jail on Sunday afternoon and was admitted to the hosptial, he said quoting physicians, reports UNB. 

As his condition worsened, he was shifted to the ICU where he later succumbed to his sickness, he added.
