
Bangladesh and Russia on Tuesday held discussions on strengthening military and technical cooperation, with senior officials from both sides exploring ways to deepen bilateral defence ties.
The talks took place during a meeting between Russian Ambassador Alexander Khozin, Military, Air and Naval Attaché Colonel Pavel Ivashinnikov, and Lieutenant General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman, Principal Staff Officer of Bangladesh’s Armed Forces Division.
According to the Russian Embassy in Dhaka, the discussions focused on both existing and potential areas of cooperation, as well as possible steps to expand the legal framework governing bilateral military collaboration.
