Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced a series of upcoming visits to Pakistan, Oman, and Russia as part of what he described as a “timely tour” aimed at strengthening diplomatic coordination and addressing key regional developments.

In a statement, Araghchi said the visits are intended to “closely coordinate with our partners on bilateral matters and consult on regional developments,” highlighting Tehran’s ongoing efforts to deepen engagement with key regional and global players.

The tour will include stops in Pakistan, Oman, and Russia, all of which maintain strategic diplomatic and economic ties with Iran.

While detailed agendas have not yet been released, the discussions are expected to cover a range of issues, including regional security, economic cooperation, energy collaboration, and broader geopolitical developments affecting the Middle East and Eurasia.

The visits come at a time of heightened diplomatic activity in the region, with countries seeking to balance shifting alliances and address ongoing security and economic challenges. Analysts view the trip as part of Iran’s broader effort to reinforce ties with both neighbouring states and major global partners.

Further details on meeting schedules and outcomes are expected following the completion of the tour.
