Qatari Labour Minister Meets Prime Minister in Dhaka

Qatari Minister of Labour Dr Ali bin Saeed bin Samikh Al Marri paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday evening.

The meeting was held at the State Guest House Jamuna, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s press wing.

Prime Minister’s Adviser for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir and Qatari Ambassador Braik Saeed Al-Samikh were also present during the meeting.

The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Qatar, particularly in the areas of labour migration and workforce opportunities.

Earlier in the day, the Qatari labour minister arrived in Dhaka on a two-day official visit aimed at deepening ties between the two countries and exploring new avenues of collaboration in the labour sector.
