Saudi envoy meets PM, hands over Crown Prince's letter

Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Abdullah Jafar H Bin Abiyah on Monday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and handed over a letter from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. 

The meeting was held at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat at around 9:40am, said a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Press Wing.

During the meeting, the Saudi envoy handed the Crown Prince's letter to the Prime Minister.

The two sides also discussed issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman, Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir and Saudi Deputy Ambassador Ibrahim Abdullah were present at the meeting, reports UNB.
