Bangladesh, Thailand renew commitment to bilateral ties

Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir met Thai Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijavat Isarabhakdi at Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship.

According to a Facebook post by Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders discussed ways to deepen cooperation through high-level exchanges, expanded trade and investment, enhanced connectivity, stronger people-to-people contacts, and closer collaboration on regional and global issues.

They also underscored the importance of making full use of existing bilateral mechanisms while exploring new avenues of cooperation to further elevate Bangladesh-Thailand relations.

Bangladesh's ambassador to Thailand was also present at the meeting.
