PM Tarique, Croatian PM discuss strengthening bilateral ties

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today held a bilateral meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The meeting was held at the UN Headquarters at noon (New York time), said Prime Minister’s Assistant Press Secretary KM Nazmul Haque.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen friendly relations between Bangladesh and Croatia, particularly by expanding trade and investment and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
They stressed the need to broaden cooperation in economic partnership, trade and investment, skilled manpower, education, technology and other promising sectors, Nazmul said.
The two prime ministers also discussed strengthening cooperation at multilateral forums, including the United Nations and enhancing coordination on international issues of common interest, reports BSS.
