US Deputy Assistant Secretary to visit Dhaka

US Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) Afreen Akhter is scheduled to visit Dhaka Monday .



US Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) Afreen Akhter is scheduled to visit Dhaka on a three-day tour.

She will arrive in Dhaka Monday (October 16).

It is known that she will joint meetings with Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen on first day and then visit the Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday (October 17).

Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen said, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary is coming to Bangladesh to discuss two issues. One is the Rohingya issue and the other is the national elections. Besides, both sides will discuss the matters of mutual interest.
