Dhaka-Beijing bilateral meeting starts

The delegation level bilateral meeting between Bangladesh and China started at 11:10am at the Great Hall of the People here in Beijing.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading the Bangladesh delegation, while Chinese Premier Li Qiang is leading the Chinese team in the meeting.
Some 20 MoUs will be signed and renewed between Dhaka and Beijing in presence of true prime ministers after the bilateral meeting.
Then PM Sheikh Hasina will join a welcome banquet (lunch) to be hosted by the Chinese premier at the same venue, reports UNB.
Earlier on her arrival at the Great Hall of the People, Sheikh Hasina was received by Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang and was given a warm reception.
In the afternoon, the PM will have a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jingping at the same venue.
On Monday last, the Bangladesh Prime Minister arrived here in Beijing on a bilateral visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Li Qiang.
Sheikh Hasina will leave Beijing for home today's 10pm by a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and is scheduled to reach Dhaka after midnight.
