Guterres to visit Bangladesh on March 13-16

United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres will undertake an official visit to Bangladesh from 13-16 March, his office confirmed.


The visit follows an invitation from Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, according to a press release, issued by the Bangladesh Permanent Mission in UN, received here this morning, reports BSS.

The invitation was handed over by Dr. Khalilur Rahman, High Representative of the Chief Adviser on the Rohingya Issue and Priority Matters, during his meeting with the Secretary-General on  February 7 in New York, said the release.
