CA Highlights BD-China's Strong People-to-People Ties

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today emphasized the long-standing and deep-rooted people-to-people relations between Bangladesh and China, noting that these ties extend beyond political and economic engagements.

"It’s not just about politics; our relationship is also deeply embedded in social and cultural exchanges, which are vital for fostering mutual understanding," he said during a bilateral meeting with Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, at a state guest house in Beijing.

The meeting covered a range of issues pertaining to bilateral interests, with both sides discussing ways to further strengthen their cooperation.

Prof. Yunus also highlighted that the Bangladesh-China relationship is advancing to new heights, underlining the importance of continued collaboration in various sectors.
