Several prominent Bangladeshi Medical and Personal Protective Equipment (MPPE) companies are participating in Medtec Japan 2025, one of Asia's leading international exhibitions for medical device manufacturing.

Held from April 9–11, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight, the event features a dedicated “Meet Bangladesh” pavilion (No. 2304 in Hall 2 & 3), highlighting the country’s growing capabilities in the MPPE sector.

Representing Bangladesh at the event are companies including Nereene Karuponya, Robolife Technology, Farseeing Knite Composite–Shangu Group, Bibeat Technologies Ltd., and Datasoft Manufacturing & Assembly Inc. Limited.

The Bangladesh showcase has been organized under the Export Competitiveness for Jobs (EC4J) project, an initiative of the Ministry of Commerce with support from the World Bank. The aim is to promote Bangladesh as a reliable and competitive sourcing hub for medical and protective equipment on the global stage.

According to organizers, the “Meet Bangladesh Show” is designed to strengthen international market linkages and enhance the visibility of Bangladeshi MPPE manufacturers among global buyers and stakeholders.

“This initiative is a key step toward positioning Bangladesh as an emerging leader in the global MPPE supply chain,” said a representative of the EC4J project.
