Qatar commerce minister calls on Chief Adviser

Sheikh Faisal bin Al Thani called on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at a hotel in Doha today.

 
During the meeting, they discussed the issues of trade and commerce and matters of mutual interests.
 
Earlier in the day, Qatar Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Hassan Al-Thani also called on Chief Adviser Prof Yunus on the sidelines of Earthna Summit.
 
Today, the Chief Adviser spoke at a high-level roundtable on "Social and Environment Challenges Around Forcibly Displaced Populations-The Case of the Rohingya".

The meeting was held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Doha.
 
Besides, Vice President for Global Engagement at SpaceX Lauren Dreyer met Prof Yunus on the sidelines of the summit, reports BSS.
 
Their discussion centred on the final steps on the collaboration to bring SpaceX satellite services to Bangladesh, Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Apurba Jahangir said.
