Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has announced that the government will establish new diplomatic missions in five countries to strengthen international relations.

“These missions will be set up in Dublin (Ireland), Oslo (Norway), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Frankfurt (Germany), and São Paulo (Brazil),” he stated in a post on his verified Facebook account.

He explained that, in response to shifting geopolitical dynamics, global economic trends, and Bangladesh’s transition from LDC status, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated the move to enhance political ties with Europe and South America, boost trade, and engage Bangladeshi expatriates in national development.
