Khaleda Zia meets outgoing German ambassador in Dhaka

Outgoing German Ambassador to Bangladesh Achim Troster paid a courtesy visit to BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia on Friday night.

The meeting was held around 8:30pm at Khaleda Zia’s residence in Gulshan, according to BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

Ambassador Troster, accompanied by his wife, greeted the BNP chief with a bouquet.

BNP Standing Committee members Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, along with Khaleda Zia’s personal secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, were also present.

Ambassador Troster is set to depart Bangladesh soon upon completion of his diplomatic tenure.
