BTCCI and TBCC sign MoU to boost business ties

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Bangladesh-Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTCCI) and the Thai-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (TBCC), Thailand, aiming to foster closer cooperation between the members of both organizations.


The MoU was signed on Wednesday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.

BTCCI President Shams Mahmud and Shahjada Mohammad Ali Khan, representative of the Thai-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (TBCC), signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

Charge d'Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka, Panom Thongprayoon, the visiting Thai delegation, and members of BTCCI were also present during the signing ceremony.

Both parties expect the agreement will bring visible benefits to their members and boost business ties between the two countries.

Md Munir Hossain, Senior Vice President; Hossain A Sikder, Vice President; Khemathat Archawathamrong, Honorary Director of BTCCI; Adul Chotinisakorn, Advisor to the Thai-Bangladesh Business Council (TBBC); Pojjana Paniangvait, Honorary Consul of Bangladesh in Chonburi province; Kriangkrai Chavaltanpipat, representative of Ranong Chamber of Commerce; among others, were also present, reports BSS.
