Since 15 March, the total number of confirmed measles cases has reached 7,929, while suspected cases have risen to 56,586, according to the DGHS bulletin.
During this period, 77 deaths have been confirmed as measles-related, while 398 additional deaths have been reported among suspected cases.
The DGHS also said that 40,090 patients have recovered so far.
The measles situation in the country has worsened amid the continuing rise in both suspected and confirmed infections, along with increasing fatalities.
