One more dies from dengue; total fatalities rise to 34 this year

One more dengue-related death was reported and 473 new patients were hospilised  across the country in 24 hours until 8:00 am on Sunday.


With the latest fatality, the dengue death toll has risen to 34 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The new death was reported in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) area.

During the reporting period, 373 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.

Since January 1, a total of 10,485 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country. Of them, 9,440 have recovered and been discharged, reports UNB.
