1,685 new Covid cases reported in 24 hours

Bangladesh has registered 1,685 cases of Covid-19 in a day, taking the overall tally of infections to 1,962,213.



Bangladesh has registered 1,685 cases of Covid-19 in a day, taking the overall tally of infections to 1,962,213.

But no new fatalities were registered in the 24-hour count, keeping the death toll from the disease unchanged at 29,135.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Friday (June 24).

Alongside, as many as 185 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,06,417, the release said.
