29 new dengue patients hospitalized in 24 hours

A total of 29 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka in the past 24 hours.



 A total of 29 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka in the past 24 hours (till 8am Friday).

 "No dengue patient was admitted outside Dhaka city," a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

 With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients this year rose to 1,376 while some 1,254 patients were released from hospitals.

 The first death from dengue was reported on June 21, this year.
