Record 360 dengue patients hospitalized in 24hrs

Bangladesh reported one death of dengue patient while a record 360 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country .



Bangladesh reported one death of dengue patient while a record 360 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the past 24 hours.
“As many as 239 dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka city while the remaining patients were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka during the past 24 hours,” according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
“A total of 33 people died from dengue disease between January 1 and September 11. The first death from dengue was reported on June 21 this year,” the daily statement of the DGHS said.
With the new cases, the total number of dengue patients this year rose to 8,750 while some 7,589 patients were released from the hospitals.
