Bangladesh registered zero death from coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours. So, the national toll stuck at 29, 345 across the country so far.

However, some 641 new cases were reported over the same period. With this, the total number of infected cases stood at 20,19,470 in the country.

A total of 4,368 samples were collected in 24 hours. Of which, 4351 samples were tested. The rate of new cases against the test was 14.73 percent. On Tuesday, the rate of new case was 12.73 percent. The total detection rate since the beginning of the epidemic is 13.61 percent.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the development on Wednesday (September 21).

Alongside, as many as 220 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 19,61,480, the release said.
