6 die of dengue, 1248 hospitalised in last 24hrs

Six people died of dengue in the last 24 hours while 1,248 patients were hospitalised till this morning across the county.


Of the deaths, four were reported in Dhaka city and the rest in Barishal and Rangpur divisions, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new deaths, the total death toll rose to 277 this year while total number of infected are 56,911.

It said 151 new patients have been admitted at Barishal division while 207 in Chattogram division, 260 in Dhaka district, 278 in Dhaka North city, 167 in Dhaka South city, 107 in Khulna division, 51 in Mymensingh, 4 in Sylhet division and 23 have been admitted in Rangpur division.
