Four die, 444 hospitalised with dengue in last 24 hrs

Four more dengue patients died and 444 patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours.


"During the period, 84 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka north city, 78 in Dhaka south city, 96 in Dhaka division (outside of the city corporations), 23 in Barishal division, 73 in Chattogram division, 45 in Khulna division, 27 in Rajshahi division, 13 in Mymensingh division, three in Rangpur division and two in Sylhet division," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

This year, a total of 536 people died of dengue disease, it added.

Meanwhile, 518 dengue patients have been discharged from different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 95,151 patients have been discharged this year, reports BSS.
