2 dengue patients die in last 24hrs

Two dengue patients died while 31 were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.


"During the period, four patients were hospitalised in Chattogram, seven in Barishal division, seven in Dhaka North city while nine in Dhaka South, four in Khulna and four were admitted to different hospitals in Rajshahi," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of case rose to 700, while seven deaths from dengue disease were reported this year, reports BSS.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
